New Scheduled Service to Faro to compliment Alicante Service

News Story Image This year see’s Ryanair, the world’s favorite airline, offering a new twice weekly route from Derry to Faro.

Faro is Ryanair’s second international route from Derry. Ryanair also operates flights from Derry to Glasgow Prestwick, Liverpool, London Stansted, Birmingham and Alicante.
Commencing on 01 April 2010, the new service brings wider holiday choice to the region for Summer 2010.

Faro is situated in the south of Portugal and is a popular location for holidaymakers looking for a spring or summer break in the Algarve. It is situated close to a number of popular resorts such as Albufeira, Vilamora, Alvor and Lagos and is expected to be a very popular choice for holidaymakers locally who are interested in a beach holiday, a cultural experience or a golfing break.

Alicante is located in southeast Spain in the south of the Region of Valencia. The fabulous destination has a typical Mediterranean landscape with beaches interspersed with mountainous terrain. The province hosts as many as six festivals declared to be of International Tourist interest.

Flights to Faro will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays with the following times:

Dep Alicante 0945/ arrives City of Derry 1155
